VIDEOTORG 2.4G Air Mouse with Voice Function Mini Wireless Keyboard Review

The VIDEOTORG 2.4G Air Mouse with Voice Function Mini Wireless Keyboard is just what I have been looking for. I went from an Amazon Fire Stick to an android TV box with Kodi built in. If you have ever had to type in a web address one letter at a time and move across the whole screen to get to one letter every time, you would understand why this full keyboard and voice control is wanted and needed and a blessing all rolled up in one.

This comes with a 2.4 GHz dongle that plugs into the side of android box (or any device you want to use it with) and once paired (hold the OK and TV buttons at the same time) with the remote you are good to go. I have a magic mirror (yeah, look it up, pretty cool) I built that uses a Raspberry Pi to run it and I want to try this out with that next. Would love to have a wireless mouse and keyboard to operate that when it’s hanging on the wall so I don’t have to take it down to plug a mouse and keyboard into it to change stuff.

This remote is pretty well built and looks and feels really good in your hands. You do have to pull off the one end on the back side (keyboard side) to insert 2 AAA batteries that you must supply. Wish this has a built-in rechargeable batteries or at least removable ones. I will use my own rechargeable batteries. So much nicer and cheaper over time than normal batteries.

The buttons are all rubber and are easy to push and operate and feel nice to the touch. I did set up the IR on this remote and it does work, but am not really using it with my TV do to my setup and having a much more expensive Logitech remote that is programmed for all my devices so the wife can turn everything on with one button. I bought this more for the mouse and keyboard side of it.

Overall, a very nice and somewhat cheap remote that has some features that normally only come in a higher end remote.
