This is manual and yes you have to get up and actually push a button on it for the computer you want to be able to use at that time, but it couldn’t be much easier.
This is a nice small and professional looking black box with silver buttons on it. These are easy to push and go in and out with no problems. Spend ten minutes wiring your computers to it and you are done and no more touching of wires again. Just push a button and away you go.
I am using mine to connect to an external multi-port hard drive hub that we use to store things on that we like to share between us or are things we don’t use a lot and just want to keep in case we need them at a later time.
For $12 at the time of this review and for the time, effort and ease and simplicity of this hub, it’s well worth it. If you need one, this just works.
