CAMTOA New Men Canvas Sports Racing Drop Leg Bag Fanny Pack Review

This CAMTOA Fanny Pack is awesome now that I have worn it a few times now. I am not going to lie to you, it was a little awkward to wear the first couple of times until you get used to something being strapped to your leg. I guess you could not use that strap, but then this would bounce and flap against your leg anytime you moved. Not sure that would be any better.

This is the new and improved fanny pack and not the ones from the 80’s. This looks military and is made out of canvas and with a polyester inside and should last awhile.

I am a little on the thick side with a waistline of 48 inches and I had to pull the waist strap out as far as it would go, but it fit. Any bigger and this doesn’t fit. The belt clips are the plastic sliding type and maybe the weak point of the fanny pack if there was one.

I love that I can carry anything I need in this and not have to actually carry it in my hands. When we are walking in the woods or parks Geocaching, bird watching or photographing the wildlife or have to carry a big backpack when all I need is something small like this to carry a few things in.

The wife likes to carry a few extra lenses for her camera around with us in case she needs them and I always end up with them in my pant pockets. Nothing like having your pants falling down as you walk with a two lenses in your pockets. Well, not anymore with this fanny pack.

Now I can carry a bottle of water, a sweat towel, phone, extra camera batteries and the lenses and have it on my hip and not have to actually carry anything. The extra weight isn’t that big a deal with this having two straps on it. Seems to help spread the weigh between your waist and your leg.

After using this a few times now, I really like this pack and think it is a great addition to my arsenal when going out now. I can now take my own camera and do my own pictures since my hands are free now and I am not the pack mule any more. Or maybe I still am but now I just carry everything in a better and smarter way.
