HOCO UC207 Car Charger Review

The HOCO Car Charger is just what I needed. I had run out of power outlets in my car with all the toys I have now that I needed more outlets to plug everything in.

I have a double outlet USB charger, a USB stick with music on it, a radar detector, a dash cam, floor LED multi-color lights, a car humidifier and a dual car fan not to mention my GPS when needed and only two power outlets and two USB ports. I need something more to plug things into and this is it.

I know have four power outlets and four USB ports to plug things into. Maybe not everything at one time but twice as much as I had.

This cup car charger is built pretty solid and is all plastic with a power cord plenty long enough to reach from anyone’s cup holders to their power outlet in most vehicles. It also has a built-in tray to hold your phone while it’s charging instead of just throwing it in your dash somewhere. This tray can be moved and can be slid around to make it in the right place for you.

The cup size of this is a little small for my cup holders and just kind of bounce and slide around in them, but not that big a deal. It may cause a problem keeping your phone in the tray when used.

I don’t have this problem because I have enough toys to be using both the cigarette ports on top of this at the same time but if you aren’t, then you should be careful and not drop anything in the open port. It would have to land in just a way to make contact and do anything, but it could and you should be aware of it. These should have some kind of cap that plus in or slides open and closed to be able to use these.

Overall, a great well-built extra car port if needed for just a little over $10 at the time of this review.
