Aurosports 30x60 Folding Binoculars Telescope with Night Vision Review

The Aurosports binoculars are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that was small, compact, light and portable but still a decent build and vision. We do a lot of wildlife photography and some bird watching and I wanted something I could carry on my hip or around my neck that wasn’t too bulky and heavy and these are it.

My mother always had those really big metal and glass binoculars for the events she went too and I eventually ended up with them. They are nice and expensive and a really good binocular, but really are only good if you are going to be sitting somewhere using them. Work well at the beach house looking out into the ocean, but not so much on a walking path out in a forest.

These say they are 30x60 but I question that. These are pretty small and the magnification and vision aren't that much. They beat my 15x30 pair but not a like a real 30x60 would. They work as is and I am only looking just outside my camera range anyway, so not that big a deal for the price of these.

I love that these can be folded and made smaller and fit in the carrying case on my hip when not needed and that it comes with a carabiner to hold it on and in place. I think the red film coating on the lens looks cool as well and helps stop the light from reflecting off the lens to make a better and clearer view. Between that and cleaning the lenses with the included cleaning cloth, I think they have a pretty good vision.

The night vision isn’t really night vision. Even their own description says it can be used in low light but you can’t see anything in the complete darkness. I think they are pushing saying night vision in the heading of these. Just more keywords to be found when you search for something on Amazon. I can’t photograph in darkness and the birds have gone to bed, so again, no big deal to me.

Overall, for the price of these, the light weight and build, these are worth it. These aren’t a $300 pair and you do get what you pay for, but these work as is and do what I want from them. I can spend the rest of my money on something else now.
