I bought the 1 pack of the KINGSO Motion
Sensing Closet Light already and liked it so much I also bought this 3 pack. I now have plenty to cover all the dark spots in my
house. In the box with the light is 3M tape, a magnet and instructions
The instructions are in English
and real easy to read and follow. This couldn’t be any easier to install and
use. Insert 4 AAA batteries that you have to supply, put the 3M tape on the
back of the mounting strip or on the magnet depending on what you are mounting
it to, find a place you need or want this and stick it there and then place the
light into the mounting strip (if needed) and watch it work when it gets dark
and it detects motion.
One thing I wish this had was a
dial for the sensitivity of the motion detecting sensor. On one side I would
like it not to come on when my cats walk by but on the other hand I would like
it to come on sooner when I am further away from it. It works as is and does
what I bought it for but I think a sensitivity dial would take this to the next
level. Maybe the cost as well?
The other thing would be, I wish
these had rechargeable batteries built in so I could just recharge them when
needed. But I do use my own, so not that big a deal I guess.
This light works well and lights
up my whole landing area heading to the 95 year old basement, my back bar area
in my kitchen when the lights aren’t on or you come in the back door at night
and the inside of my bedroom closet so when the wife gets up at 3 am, she
doesn’t wake me up by turning the lights on to find something when she needs
it.
I never had any lights in these
areas before and didn’t want to pay to have someone install any. These are
perfect for those kind of areas. I didn’t tell the wife I installed them and
she was pleasantly surprised when they came on and she could see when she
needed to.
This is a much brighter light
than any others I have tried in the past and for $14 at the time of this
review, this 3 pack is such a deal. I think I paid about $9 for the 1 pack
earlier. Great lights. I use the magnet on one and the 3M tape on the other two
to hold them on the walls where I have them.
