Holigoo Alien Red & Green Wireless Control Laser Christmas Lights Review

The Holigoo Laser Light is just what I was looking for. I like Christmas and all the lights and decorations, but I hate all the work and time spent putting everything up and taking them down. I am also tired of putting out Christmas lights only to find out some of the bulbs are not working and I need new bulbs or a whole new string of lights. This will fix all that.

With this one laser light, I can do the whole house and with LED, I have no bulbs to worry about any more. It comes with the light, remote and a stake to put into the ground if needed. You could also bolt or screw this into something like a tree, fence or garage if needed.

So you just mount this, plug it in and away you go. Easy peasy and not one tangled string of lights or bulbs to replace after spending an hour pulling them out one by one to check them.

The remote control does allow you to change between your color (Red, Green or Red and Green together), turn the flash on or off. There is also a timer option so that you can set the lights to turn on, with options for 1, 2, 3, 4. 5 and 6 hours. Or the light itself has a built in time for 8 hours on, 10 hours off and then 8 hours on again.

I like that you can put this close to something and only light up that one thing, like a tree or wall or you can move this back and light up the whole front of the house along with anything else within the range of this light. Pretty cool shining off the tree leaves, bushes, house and garage all at the same time.

I only found two things I thought needed improvements. One, I thought could be better is the amount of red in the lights. When you use just red, you get about a 30 percent coverage of dots compared to when you use green. Getting them closer in amount would make this so much better in my opinion.

Second, is the fact that this is waterproof and good for any weather but you have to attach and screw on the plug to the end of the wire coming from this light before you can use it. This is now a point of failure in the waterproofing. Why isn’t this one solid enclosed plug built into the wire? There is potential for leakage here now with the snow and rain the North East over the winter months.

Other than that, this is a great laser light that will work great for Christmas or anytime if wanted.
