Bodyguard Bike Wheel Lights Review

Color: Colorful

The Bodyguard bike wheel lights are awesome. In the box is the lights, batteries (2 AA), mounting hardware and instructions.

The instructions are in English and very easy to read and follow. It was less work to install these lights on the bike than it was to take the bike down off the ceiling hooks I have it stored on.

Over all, with a little planning and thinking ahead, it took me less than ten minutes to get this installed on the wheel and working.

The top pops off the battery compartment with a coin or screwdriver and is really easy to access and install the batteries or replace the batteries. The lights come one when it’s dark and there is motion and go off when there isn’t to save the batteries.

Overall, I thought this would be great for the kids, but I really like these as well and I installed these on my bike. Being the big kid I am.

A few tips. One, don’t put the battery pack around the valve stem of the wheel so you can get to it when needed. Two, turn the wheel so the metal mounting brackets will fall down into place using gravity instead of trying to push it in place, hold it there and screw it down and three, place the battery pack in such away you can pop the top off and replace the batteries when needed or to install them the first time.
