The iPhone 7 screen protector by iVapo is different than any other screen protector I have seen out there. This is actually a soft edge silicone shell that fits over the whole front of the phone like a case would.
With that being said, this screen protector cannot be used with all phone cases that are out there and maybe limited to just a few. I know iVapo makes a case that works wells with this screen protector (so I bought that as well), so you should look that up if you need a case.
This does fit pretty snug over the whole face of the phone and only has an opening in it for the home button and the phone speaker at the top of the phone. Without a case on, I could see this case being pulled off with the raised edges sticking out for someone that likes to carry it in their pocket. I would assume this edge would also collect a lot of dust and dirt as well. Not a problem with a case on it.
So far, this screen protector has stayed on and worked. I was a little worried about the bottom where the home button hole is located. I have had others in the past not want to stay down and stuck to the glass around this area after being used for a little bit of time.
I give this a two thumbs up so far for both design and functionality and would recommend this to anyone with a new iPhone 7 that needs and should have a screen protector on their new, shiny and expensive phone.
