1byone Aluminum Alloy Outdoor Laser Christmas Light Projector with IR Review

The 1byone Laser Christmas Light is just what I was looking for. I like Christmas and all the lights and decorations, but I hate all the work and time spent putting everything up and taking them down. I am also tired of putting out Christmas lights only to find out some of the bulbs are not working and I need new bulbs or a whole new string of lights. This will fix all that.

With this one laser light, I can do the whole house and with a laser, I have no bulbs to worry about anymore. It comes with the light, a metal stake to put into the ground and a remote.

So you just push this into the ground, plug it in and away you go. Easy peasy and not one tangled string of lights or bulbs to replace after spending an hour pulling them out one by one to check them.

I like that you can put this close to something and only light up that one thing, like a tree or wall or you can move this back and light up the whole front of the house along with anything else within the range of this light. Pretty cool shining off the tree leaves, bushes, house and garage all at the same time.

I love the green and red colors, but wish there were a little more red colors as they are only about 30 percent of the overall colors. I know the human eye sees green easier than red and maybe that is why I want it redder? You can turn off the green and only leave red or turn the brightness up or down on them, but it’s not the same.

The remote control does allow you to change your color (Red, Green or Red and Green together), turn the flash on or off. There is also a timer option so that you can set the lights to turn off, with options for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 hours. Wish it had 8 hours or dust to dawn and was an RF remote instead of IR. You may have to go outside to use the remote if the IR can’t reach or see the IR port on the light.

They state this is water resistant but the fact that you have to attach and screw on the plug to the end of the wire coming from this light before you can use it. This is now a point of failure in the waterproofing. Why isn’t this one solid enclosed plug built into the wire? There is potential for leakage here now with the snow and rain the North East over the winter months. Time will tell. I have had other things with this type of plug and I had no problems with those, so the odds are in my favor.

Other than that, this is a great laser light that will work great for Christmas or anytime if wanted.
