I have that one
drawer like everyone has that is full of batteries and trying to find what I
need and one that is still good was getting out of control and I bought this to
finally get some organization going on.
This is a little smaller than I thought it would be and that is good as it fits perfect in the kitchen drawer I was getting cleaned up. So same drawer space being used up, but now I can easily find what I need and test it and make sure it is still good or if it needs recharged or not.
The foam on this is nice and sturdy and holds the batteries very well and almost too well, as they are hard to get out when needed, but they are not going anywhere, so no problem there. There seems to be plenty of space for all the batteries I have and use. Most people use more AA & AAA batteries and not a lot of C & D batteries and that is good, as there are spots for the C & D batteries, but not a lot.
The USB charger included in this is great if on the go and need to quickly charge something. It plugs right into my battery pack and works well for up to four batteries. The tester is basic but works. You do need to make sure you place the battery in the tester the right way for it to work and make sure it makes contact with the raised bumps on the metal strips on each end or you get no reading. The plus side (+) goes down towards the red piece that slides.
Overall a great case that holds and organizes all my batteries and helps keep them and my house safe by being fireproof as well.
