The
Pictek
2.4 G optical mouse is just that, a wireless mouse. It’s a standard size and
shape as any other mouse you would come across or buy.
This is not a Bluetooth mouse and does use a 2.4GHZ transmitter that
plugs into a USB port on your laptop or desktop computer.
As for most mice, they are built more for a right handed person
and not a left handed one, so if you are left handed, sorry, you will still
have problems using this one.
This also runs off of two AA batteries that you must supply and
that is also pretty standard for wireless mice. Good thing is, these types of
mice go to sleep when not being used and don’t use the battery and they seem to
last forever, but I still turn mine off at the office when I go home every day
just to make sure and to help it out.
This does come with 2400 DPI (or CPI) which is decent and should
mean that it reads the mouse movement more accurate and correct more often than
others, but also means it won’t move as fast across the screen as others with a
higher DPI. You can adjust the speed with in the mouse setting on your PC if
you choose.
So for a mouse, this isn’t a great gaming mouse, but if you want
a nice wireless mouse that just works and does what it was made for without any
hassle, this it is. This also makes for a great extra mouse that can be taken
with you or carried around. I have a wireless mouse at the office, one at home
and one in my laptop backpack for when I travel or am out and need a mouse.
For the price, ease of use and just because it just works, this
Pictek wireless mouse is a great buy.
