SkyGenius 15W 4000K LED Corn Light Bulb Review

What can I say about this SkyGenius 15W 4000K LED Corn Light Bulb? It’s another new LED light on the market nowadays. LED replacement bulbs are all the rage nowadays as they last for 5-10 years for a lot less cost and little to no heat put off of them.

This bulb is a lot longer and skinnier than a normal bulb and you need to take that in consideration before purchasing it. Due to this, it may not fit in all fixtures or the lamp shade may not cover the entire bulb once installed, if at all.

For a 15 W bulb, this thing is pretty impressive and lights up the one side of the garage I wanted lit up. I have a two car garage and I replaced one side with a flat ceiling LED light that really lights up the garage but the other side seemed pretty dim once I put the other LED light in so I needed something on the other side and this did they trick.

It screws in just like any other bulb, so no tools or wiring needed. Since it’s in the garage, I really didn’t care how it looked and was more worried about the brightness than the cosmetic look of it.

This bulb has LED lights around the whole bulb so it lights up 360 degrees just like any other bulb but these LED lights, just light up a room or area so much better. The normal incandescent bulbs just light up what is just below them and slightly around them, but these newer LED bulbs, light up the whole room and cover a much wider area.

I love this light and the new brightness I have in my garage. Between the two LED lights in my garage, I can see in the whole garage now from wall to wall. If I would have only had one light in my garage, I would have gone with more the 30 or 35 watt bulb, but they are double the price of this 15w bulb and I didn’t need that much brightness in one room for the price.
