The
MEITIME
Silicon No Tie Shoe Lace is exactly what I was looking for. I have not been
tying and untying my gym shows for years and have them tied just enough I can
slip them on and off with no problem. These will just take it to another level
and make everything look even better from now on.
So a few things first. There are only six straps for each shoe
included, so if your shoes require more, these don’t work for you or you need
to buy more unless you can get by with six on each shoe. Next, the ends that
push into the shoelace holes are a certain size and may not work on every pair
of shoes depending on the size of the shoelace hole you have and whether it has
a metal grommet or not. So these are not a one size fits all shoestring
replacement. Third, each of these straps are only so long and will not stretch
or give any, so if you have a big, wide or fat feet, these may not reach or
give you enough room to slide your foot in and out or may keep popping out and
coming undone while you are using them.
I bought the white because all of my gym shoes are white with
white laces and I wanted to keep that same look thru ought. I also think the
white caps on these don’t look as pronounced as they do on the other colors and
if they fall off like I have read in other reviews, it won’t be as noticeable until
I can get them back on or glued on permanently.
These couldn’t be any easier to install, remove your old laces,
starting at the bottom with the shortest strap, push one end thru each (metal
grommet or hole) of the shoelace hole on each side and do this for all six in
each shoe and you are done. You should now be able to slip your shoes on and
off without having to tie or untie them anymore going forward.
Overall, a great idea and a great product that I would recommend
to anyone that wants to take the next step forward in shoe automation. Next I
will have the self-tying shoes.
