In-car Bluetooth Speakerphone by SUFUM Review

The In-car Bluetooth Speakerphone by SUFUM is wonderful Bluetooth add-on for older vehicles that don’t have Bluetooth built in. Since I got my car that has it, there is no comparison to a car without it.

So I have tried three other Bluetooth add-ons (FM transmitters) on my wife’s car trying to get her hand's free calling and they all plug into the cigarette lighter plug and have to connect to your radio to work and don’t work very well at all. The sound is terrible as well as the connection to the other person. These work well for playing music but not phone calls.

Since installing this in her car after charging it in the house wall outlet for a couple of hours, this has worked very well and the best I have tried so far. This is looking for a Bluetooth to connect to as soon as you turn it on each time so it’s really easy to connect to (with no passcode) and once you sync to it the first time, it just connects automatically after that every time you turn it on.

This is very easy to operate and use and the sound quality on both ends is very well and most people don’t even know you aren’t on your phone when using it. It doesn’t have that tin can or in a bucket kind of sound that a lot of speakerphones have.

At 5 inches long by 2 inches wide, this is very small and fits on you sun visor with ease and really doesn’t take up much room or get in the way. There is a metal clip that goes on the visor and connects on the back of the device via way of a magnet. Makes taking this on and off the visor very easy, but at the same time, the magnet is strong enough to keep it attached when needed without moving or falling while you are driving.

This does come with a cigarette lighter adapter that this can be plugged into to charge it while it’s in your car, but the cord isn’t long enough to keep it plugged in while you are using it on your visor and you would have to place this in you console next to where you have this plugged into for it to reach. The only downside, I see with this unit, but I guess the cord could get in your way while driving?

In the end, this is a very nice Bluetooth device for making any older car that doesn’t’ come with it Bluetooth capable. The wife loves being able to you hands-free calling and how easy this is to use. Would recommend this to family and friends that would be in the market for one for their vehicles.
