Size: One Pair (2 Poles)
The PLEMO trekking walking poles are something I have been wanting for a long time and just never made it to the top of my list to buy. The wife and I are always going geocaching, birdwatching or photographing wildlife and this all entails walking some bike path, trial or backwoods somewhere and these make doing that so much easier as we are getting a little bit older and things just don’t move like they used to.
What I love:
- They are made out of Aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum alloy and are light.
- They adjust from 26.8 inches to 53 inches. Both of us are only 5’4”, so this helps.
- They have adjustable 3-section poles with quick locking levers.
- Each section has measurements so you can set them at the same place every time
- They have hand straps with soft foam handles.
- They have detachable mud baskets. Wonderful additional feature.
- They help reduce the impact on my knees and help stabilize me when walking.
- They come with a money-back and replacement guarantee for 1 year
What I hate:
- There is no compass on the handles
- The quick levers need adjusting and loosened before they would work or you can’t close them.
- When extending each section, they will pull all the way out if not careful, only thing that stops you is the word “Stop” stamped on the end of the section
As you can see, there is a little to hate here but overall, not that big a deal and these are a wonderful pair of trekking poles that should work well for anyone, Next, I will have to buy another pair for the wife or I guess I could share for now.
So do yourself a favor, if you like to walk, hike or just get outdoors, you should really think about buying something like these PLEMO trekking poles. You won’t regret it.
