This looks and
feels solid and works great to smooth out the nails on my cats (If someone if
holding them down), but I do still trim them first with clippers because they
are just too long to grind all the way down with this and it does take longer
to do then clippers. I do like that it comes with a protective cap and
different sizes, so I have less grinding area exposed and don’t get caught in
the cat’s fur. It's easy enough to charge and lasts more than long enough to use
it for the time I used it for. It is quite enough the cats aren’t running from
it like they do the vacuum. Not sure about the trimmer on it. It nice to have
options and I may use it to trim around the backside for a couple of the cats whose fur gets in the way when using the little box.
