First off, this
is a manual snake and not automated. The crank on the back does not make the coil
wire come in or out or adjust the length of the coil, it only turns it. You
have to pull the coil out with your hands (thus the gloves they give you) until
you feel it hit something and there is some resistance on you pushing it in,
lock it in place and then crank the handle by hand or with a drill, to get the
spring on the end to drill into the clog, so you can pull it out. It is amazing
what this could pull out of your pipes and it will not smell good at all.
