Outdoor Security Camera AKASO Wifi IP Camera

They call this an outdoor camera but it works just as well indoors. I have this in my living room facing the front door just in case someone gets past the cameras outside. I can also use it to check on the cats or to talk to them if we are gone for a few days.

This is fast and easy to set up on WIFI (This only works on 2.4ghz WIFI and not 5ghz). Will hold up to a 128GB SD card that you must buy and supply if you want to use one.

Everything just works. Night vision is great, connects to Alexa great, audio in/out is great, sound/motion detection is almost too good and you may need to turn the sensitivity to low or you may get a lot of notifications, video quality it 1080p and the app works well. They recommend the AKASO app, but I use the Smart Life app since I already have other devices set up in it that I use.

X3 Plus Classic Nail Clippers by Opove

Very nice nail clippers. Made from stainless steel with black color, very nice looking and great feel to them. Comes with its own storage case if you want to use it. These are very sharp and have a pretty good point on them, so you do need to be careful when using them or leaving them lying around that young children or pets may get to them. Always place the protective plastic cover over the tip when not in use.

Omar 20000mAh Battery Bank

I bought another Omar's charger not too long ago and loved it so much, when I got the new SG10 5G phone that comes with a C-type charging port, I decided to get another charger that also just has the c-type ports on it and this one fits the bill very well.

These 20k chargers are a little on the big size but seem to charge everything very fast and seem to last forever. They do take a few hours to recharge them but plug it in overnight while you sleep and you are good for a while. I have everyone always asking to borrow it and I don’t mind because there will be enough charge left when I need it.

The case on this is made really solid and can take a beating if you drop it (I have). I love that the one port can be either in or out port so you can recharge your device with it or you can charge the battery pack with it. With 3 ports in this, I can charge everything at one time if needed.

It has 4 LED lights that tell you how much charge this has left, so very easy to see and read when needed.

One review says this doesn’t support quick charge (that is incorrect) the micro USB port supports it as well as the type A & C USB ports. These will give you 2.4a when used.

DEENKEE 6 Quart Multi Pot Pressure Cooker 10-in-1 Instant Programmable

I bought an instapot when they first came out and it got a lot of use out of it but now there are a few things going wrong, so time for a new one. They have made great strides since I bought the old one.

This one from Deenkee has more options, easier release valve, lid, accessories and just works faster and easier than the other one. Like most new things, read the instruction, follow them and for the most part, things work. Yea, you may need to change or tweak a recipe or it may not come out like you expected but that is how life is and goes. This just works as expected and does what I want and need it to.

It is so nice and fast not having to remember to get something out and defrost it first and still getting it done and finished faster then if you did. The food you cook with this comes out hot, fast and all the meat is moist. My hard boiled eggs came out just as good using the 5, 5,5 method.

All the buttons are labeled and easy to read and understand. It's very easy to program and start cooking. Does take a little time to pressurize (about 58 minutes) and actually start cooking, but that is just how these are made and what they do. Just plan on it and include it in your timing.

DoubleFly 360 Electronic Spin Scrubber

I have always been a work smarter not harder type a person and this electric brush from Doublefly fits in the thinking. With a 21-inch extendable handle that pops on and off when needed and three different brush types to switch between, I can clean just about anything now without having to bend or stretch like I used to.

I really bought this to help clean the bathtub and shower and it does work very well and does what I want, so no more hand scrubbing the sides of the tub and I can reach the top of the tile without getting in the tub. It does help to spray the sides and let it sit a little before using this brush as you can’t press too hard or the brush will stop spinning and working. You should only use very light pressure when scrubbing anything.

I have now started to find this also works well cleaning other areas of the house as well. Like cleaning the grout on the kitchen floor after a cat has an accident or spills some water or food.   

Manual does say to charge it the first time for 20 hours but mine was charged in 3.5 hours and it did work fine after that. Then I charged it for another 8 hours before using it again.

Scientoy Splash Pad & Sprinkler for Kids

This is a great splash pad for little kids. It is perfect for my grandson. Only takes a minute to set up and get working and you can adjust the height of the water with the pressure from the hose. You may have to grab the outer ring and pull it out towards you after it fills up to get the spray to go inside the pad instead of outside of it but no big deal.

There is a pretty strong plastic smell to it when you first pull it out of the bag, but after setting it up and using it, over a few hours it pretty much goes away.

Depending on how old your child is, this could seem pretty big at 5 feet around or it may seem a little small. For a 1-year-old, this is pretty big. But if you just want to have fun, get wet and cool off, this works very well for anyone.

JINTU 420-800mm F/8.3 Super Telephoto Manual Zoom Lens

I was told to stay away from an all manual lens from a fellow photographer when I first started out and that was good advice then since I did a lot of moving wildlife photos, but now that I have some time under my belt, know what I want and need and I want a longer range lens without paying the crazy price for one like my 600mm lens, this is a perfect fit for both distance and price.

On my Nikon camera, all it took was setting it to "manual", set the ISO and shutter speed and everything works as expected. This lens has a nice metal barrel, crisp and clear optical lens and slides in and out to change your distance smoothly and locks in place when you get it where you need it.

I did need the adapter to make this fit my Nikon and it did come with it and fit perfect. It does take a little practice to get this focused in but not too hard and does work a little better with a tripod since it can get a little long and heavy hand holding it, but I did get some good pictures with it being handheld.

I also use a shutter release remote that plugs into the side of the camera to take photos, so I don’t disturb the camera when taking pictures. Everyone should get one.

   

Hoping to get some great pictures with this next time I visit the Eagles Nest.
