Dual Dash Cam Front and Rear FHD 1080P with Night Vision and SD Card Included, 3 Inch IPS Screen DVR Dash Camera for Cars

Compared to the first dashcam, I bought when they first started coming out, this one is awesome. With both a front and back camera, you can see and record everything. Bought the wife a new SUV, but like most of them it is hard to see out the back, this helps with that. That and this will record everything around you in case something happens.

This is easy to install and setup the setting in it. The hardest part was running and hiding the power cord around the front windshield and the cord to the backup camera.

This does record to an SD card and they provide a 32GB card (be sure to format it in the camera before using it the first time), so you don’t have to buy one separately. That is a nice little perk. This will do loop recording so it will overwrite the oldest recordings when it starts to run out of space, so if you want to keep them, you need to transfer them off the card before it gets to that point.

This also has a 3-inch HD screen which is more than enough to see what the camera(s) are seeing if you chose to have it on and look at it. I have it so the screen blacks out after 30 seconds, so I am not distracted by it while driving.

The the wide-angle lens on these two cameras are more than wide enough and see everything from side to side that you would see driving. The cameras are good enough (1080p F2.0 aperture) to pick and read license plates, but you do still need to be somewhat close for them to be readable as most video, things start to get blurred and pixelated when you try to zoom in or enlarge them.

The nigh vision on this is as good as any other camera (dashcam, security or camcorder) that I have had and works well. Like most night vision, it is limited on how far it can see and work for, but all you really care about is what is right in front of you.

This also has a parking monitor if you chose to turn it on and use it. It does work if someone or something bumps or moves your car. It will turn the camera on and record a 30-second video. My other ones had it but if it didn’t happen in front, it didn’t capture it. With front and back cameras now, I hope it will if it happens.

Still trying to be a cable cutter and this will help. This is basically an Android TV box that has 2GB of Ram, 16GB of hard drive space and can display things at 4k (2160P@30fps) if needed. This does not come with all the extras you could and should need like a keyboard and mouse but does have a remote and functions well with this box (does require 2 AA batteries). The extras are cheap and easy to get and not a deal-breaker. You are really paying for the GOTV app and access to that network and server to get all the 1600+ channels. You do not need an account to be able to access it and there are no fees or anything else you need to use it.

Since this is an Android box, and you have the play store already installed, you can download and install anything you want on this and use it. From games to other apps to watch TV or movies from other places. There are a ton of apps for this.

This The TV box is in line with others on the market and works well depending on how much you put on it and have running. Having it plugged into your ethernet cable will work better than WIFI but a decent WIFI signal will and does work pretty well if that is what you have. With the above specs, it is twice as fast as the Firestick.

I don’t need a lot of other country channels unless there is a sporting event I want to watch, but all the other channels so far look good and I have had no problems with them so far. It did freeze a couple of times watching a couple of channels but I think that is my security cameras taking up a lot of my bandwidth.

TAMPROAD RS-A800 Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with FM Radio

This has a 3.5mm plug, USB port, TS card slot, Bluetooth and an FM radio. More than enough ways of connecting and playing music and also has a microphone port, so I could answer a phone call if one came in or do karaoke. It also comes with a remote, so you can change and adjust things from a distance if needed as well.

The speaker may seem a little smaller then it looks on the website, but it is about 10” tall, 7” wide and 6” deep. That and it weighs about 4 pounds, so not actually a small speaker but still small enough and light enough to carry around and be very portable when needed. The handle on top makes that very easy as well.

Now the part everyone wants to know, how is the sound of this speaker? Well, overall not bad. I normally play my music thru my phone and I have an equalizer app on there that I use for all my music and after a little tweak, I am happy to say, this speaker sounds awesome. The highs are clean and crisp, the bass is decent on songs with good bass and I hear no distortion or breaking when the volume is turned up. If you are a “Melophile” and must have the best and perfect sound, this isn’t for you. If you are someone that likes to listen to good music and have a good time, then get this.

I was so excited when I first turned this on in the video I made, I forgot all about the FM part of this. I think the sound in FM mode is even louder and better than in Bluetooth mode. All my local channels came in with no problem.

Been upgrading all my 100-year-old house outlets to newer ones with multiple plugs and outlets and this is another one I am replacing in my kitchen to allow us to plug USB cables into it for charging of all our devices and replace the outlet with LED lights on the bottom of it since it is always dark in the corner and the lights are always on.

You don’t realize how many devices you have until you need to charge all of them or need to plug things in to operate them.

This was just as fast and easy to install and replace as any other outlet in the house. Fits a normal outlet perfectly with no special steps or installation. The white color matches all the other plugs and looks good doing it even if it doesn’t match all the other plugs in looks.

I love that this has two high-speed USB ports on it that will charge everything faster if they can handle it. Also, like the LED light on that tell me if its working or not or if I have a problem with the device or the outlet.

Pros:

-        Foldable drone, only about 5 inches folded, 10 inches unfolded

-        Comes with 2 batteries (15 min flight each)

-        Has GPS and will hold its position very well

-        Will return to home if lost signal, low battery or you push the button

-        Has 5G WIFI, so the range is 1000 feet away and 400 feet high without video loss or lag

-        Has waypoint flight, follow me mode, beginner mode, headless mode, POI mode

-        Has a 1080P camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens, can be slightly adjusted up/down

-        Comes with extra props, battery charging cable, screwdriver and manual

-        Can be flown with just the app on your device with no transmitter

Cons:

-        Batteries are proprietary and can not be replaced with another battery so you must buy theirs if you want more

-        Brushed motors instead of brushless, so power is a little underwhelming and motors will eventually need to be replaced. Does struggle against a medium wind speed

-        Uses 5G WIFI, your device must be new enough to have this or will not work with this

-        Takes 2-2.5 hours to charge each battery unless you have a better charger

Overall, this is a decent little GPS drone that holds its position well, is a smooth flier but sporty enough and fun to fly. Has decent pitch and yaw that is responsive but not crazy fast, so no problems flying it or getting great videos when needed. You could also hook this up to some goggles and do a little FPV flying if you wish as well.

X-Sense Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Detector Alarm with CO Display | 10 Year Sealed Battery Operated | Easy Installation, Auto-Check, SC01

Replacing an old smoke detector with this one from X-sense. I had a CO detector years ago when they use to just keep building up until the alarm went off and the wife called the fire department, I threw it away after that and haven’t been using one since. Now that this one does both, CO and smoke detection, it is time to try it again.

It was very simple to install as I just placed it where the old one was and used the same holes and screws. I love that I don’t have to check and replace batteries every year now as the built-in battery is supposed to be good for 10 years now and I bet I can remove it and recharge it if needed as well. Yay, me.

The display on this is big and easy enough to see where I have it mounted and during the testing, plenty loud enough to be heard thru out the house.

Comes with a 10 year warranty, that I hope I don’t have to use and if this works like they say I should sleep well knowing I should have some warning me if something was to happen.

Kittyhok Outdoor Security Camera

You do have to read and find out what any camera has and doesn’t have or support before buying it. They are all different. This one doesn’t connect to any NVR system and only works using the “Kittyhok App” or another app if you already have one. This is fine with me since I bought this for my son to watch and check on his dogs when he is gone. He doesn’t really need things recorded, saved, and if he did he could add an SD card to this and do it that way.  

This was very fast and easy to get set up on WIFI and get up and running. I had no problem with any of the features and everything seems to be working perfectly so far.

The audio, night vision, motion detection, and notifications all seem to be working as described.

You can adjust a few settings in the apps and record on a schedule or when it sees motion and whether or not to send you a notification or not. Depending on your settings and where you place this camera, notifications may get to be too great that you may want to turn that piece off.
