After more testing and
contacting the seller, the voice control and the flight plan both work as
described. One key point not in the manual, to use these the drone needs to be
connected and controlled by the App only and not the transmitter. Once the transmitter
is connected, that controls the drone and not the app. You need to learn the
app and all the buttons and options it has in order to make this easier and go
well during your flight. You also need some room and these are not for indoor
flying.

I have a lot of drones and I can tell you this is the first one
I have or seen that has voice control and I like it if you want to do the
basics in flying it. It works as well as the flight path mode, 3d flips,
altitude hold, one button takes off/landing, headless mode and the three speed
modes.
This comes with a wide angle (120 degrees) 720p front-facing
camera that can be slightly adjusted before your flight. This camera along with
the app on your phone or tablet gives you FPV (first person view) so you see
what the camera sees. You do have to connect your device to the drone using
your device WIFI before being able to see the video from the drone in the app.
The app will also save any video or photos you take on your device and not on
an SD card.
Love that this folds down from about 12 inches down to about 5.
That makes this very portable and easy to carry around with you. It also comes
with 2 proprietary batteries 3.7v 800mAh) that take around 90 minutes each to
charge and that gives you 15-16 minutes of flight time between the two
batteries. Let the motors cool down in between flight to make them last longer.
The charger light turns red when you plug the battery into it, then turns off
when you plug it into a USB port to charge it and then comes back on when it is
done charging.
You can fly this with just the controller if you like if you
don’t want to use the camera and you will get a little longer flight time but
no videos or photos. You can also fly this using just your device (phone,
tablet) and use the voice commands and on-screen controls but I always find
this a little harder than it looks and prefers the controller sticks under my
thumbs.
The voice control, I couldn’t get to work. I could see in the
app that it recognized what I said, but the drone didn’t respond or do
anything. Unless there is more too it that isn’t documented, this part is a
bust.
This is a little on the light side and does get pushed a little
by the wind unless in high speed, then it seems to do better when outdoors. The
range on this is about 300 feet but that may be pushing it as the WIFI may start
getting broken and you may get choppy video before that. If you do get too far
away and lose your WIFI signal, this like any drone can fly away and never be
seen again.
The controls are pretty responsive and almost too quickly with no
lag and flying of this is pretty smooth and a decent little flier. I think with
works for both the beginner and professional.
