TACKLIFE 25 Inch Electric Fireplace Heater

I have a 100-year-old house with no insulation and drafts everywhere and need a way to help stay warm and reduce the heating cost and this is it. This looks good sitting there as well as puts out great heat (65-95 degrees F). The fire really does look like a real fire and not one of those cheap-looking fake fireplaces. It’s also nice to be able to see the fire from three sides as well.

I think it is great you can control everything on it from the brightness of the fire, fan speed, light, temperature, and weather the heat is on or not. It does seem on the small side at 25 inches, but weighs 27 pounds and would take more then my cat bumping against it to knock it over.

With 2600-5200 BTU, it keeps my 13’ x 25’ living room warm enough I don’t need a blanket while I am laying around anymore and my heat doesn’t kick on with the the thermostat in the next room. I did notice the flames of the log and fire do dropdown to about 20% of their brightness when the heat and fan is turned on, not that big a deal, it’s actually a good indicator that the heat is on.

AEROBAND Air Drum Sticks Electronic Drum Set with Light

Let’s get it out of the way, this is not a drum set. It is a pair of drumsticks you play in the air using an app on your phone or tablet. If you have something like Chromecast, you could display it on your TV. I have had people ask me, so just telling you beforehand.

These really are a lot of fun to use and play with and work very well. There is a little learning curve to getting good at hitting the right drum when you want, but with a couple of minutes of practice, you will figure it out.

The drumsticks connect to your device thru Bluetooth and you do have to open the the app, turn the drumsticks on (long-press the buttons until the lights on them come on), then push the two buttons in the app to connect to each drumstick. The lights on top of each stick flash until connected and then turn solid once connected and the buttons in the app change colors as well. Once connected, short press each button on the drumsticks (together) to calibrate them. You should see in the app, the drumsticks in the app go to where you are holding them when you did it. You are good to play now.

You can then choose to do the tutorial, game mode, or free play. For beginners, I suggest the tutorial first, but you could just wing it and just figure it out, it’s not that hard. There are some pre-recorded music tracks in the app you can play along with if you chose. There is also a nice little velvet carrying bag to store and carry these around with so you can play them any place you want as you are traveling.

Overall, these are a lot more fun and easier to use than I thought they would be. I think once my grandson gets out of that putting everything in his mouth stage, I will let him play with them. Beats buying and storing a whole drum set that I told my daughter I was buying him.

BOBLOV 1296P Mini Camera

This camera is pretty cool. It’s a small camera that can record video, photos or audio and it comes with a clip so you can clip it on your front pocket, shirt or anything else that you want it on. You get first-person videos hands free and there is only one big button on the front of it for recording, so it's really easy to operate. It does have both a built-in rechargeable battery and memory, so all you have to do is charge it to use it. You should decide if you want to turn on loop recording first so it overwrites the oldest data or stops recording when full.

It also has a .66 inch screen built into it so you can see the different settings as this will shoot 1080p down to 480p and has WIFI to connect to your iPhone or uses OTG to connect to your Android device (if it has OTG) if you have the app installed. The app does control all the settings and allows you to view all the video and photos you took with the camera.

With a 1200 mAh battery and 32 GB of memory, you can get up to 4 hours of video at 1080p if you don’t use the WIFI and does take about 2 hours to fully charge it.
