I
loved when these first came out and the old one did it jobs and was better than
jumping the connector plugs to read the code from the engine light flashing but
this newer one is even better and has a lot more info about my car than most
people need but it is nice to have options if I need something later.
One
of the best features is the code description it gives you, so you have an idea
of what the problem is as well as the ability to clear the codes if needed. Allot
of the codes that appear are temporary and once cleared, don’t come back and
are not an issue. If the same code reappears once or twice, you have an issue
and it will need to be addressed. This is great for both professionals and
amateurs that need or want to check their vehicle out.
The
the battery monitor is another great tool this has. When winter hits or you start
having issues with your electric or battery, this helps you see how your
the battery is and how it is performing and should help you decide if you have a
bad battery or if it is something else.
Overall,
for the price, well worth it and does everything and more than this back yard mechanic
needs to keep my vehicles running good.
